Exciting plans in the pipeline for the Molo Hotel and Resort
Having received acceptance to regulate parts of the Molo (breakwater) from fishing- to hospitalitypurposes during the Autumn of 2020, we are now gearing up towards finding investors who share our passion to create something spectacular here at Veiholmen, virtually on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean.
Who would not want to wake up to the sound of the roaring ocean, watch the sun set into the horizon during Summer, feel the power of the Winterstorms or watch the Northern Light from bed during season?
We certainly believe that this hotel will become a destination in itself and have chosen to work with a Norwegian architect who is renowned for “bringing the outside inside” as Biotope Architecture specializes in creating bird-and weather-shelters around the world!
We are not embarrassed to think BIG!
The hotel will float like wings behind the old fishfactory and clad in colours of the surroundings, like grey, blue and black to as to not draw attention from the iconic fishfactory which will house lounge, diningarea and other hotelfunctions
The colourful “flooring” is orange to mirror all the orange and yellow moss found at the breakwater.
